Model Identification of Batch Crystallization Processes (Estimate of Kinetic-Parameters of Sodium-Perborate Precipitation)
The nucleation, growth and agglomeration kinetic parameters for an industrial scale sodium perborate (SPB) precipitation are determined via nonlinear parameter optimization. A successive quadratic programming method is applied for stage to stage parameter updating. A good agreement between values of growth parameters determined simultaneously by optimization acid those obtained by isolation method is found.
