Simplifying Hypotheses in Computer-Aided Modeling - A Singular Perturbation Approach
Many of the assumptions made in a modelling session can be reduced to assumptions about the involved numerical coefficients, i.e. that they are very big or very small. It is important to take these features into account at the modelling stage and we show in this paper what are the difficulties involved and what might constitute solutions to overcome them.
