ON THE RELATION BETWEEN CHARGE-STORAGE CAPACITY AND PI-TOPOLOGY OF DIFFERENT OLIGONAPHTHYLENES
Communication: The relationship between charge-storage capacity and pi-topology in conjugated polymers needs to be understood in order to optimize polymer structures for use in, for example, anodic electrodes in secondary lithium battery elements. Cyclic voltammetry has been used to study the redox behavior of conjugated oligomers related to that shown in the figure.
