ALIGNED CARBON NANOTUBES IN A THIN POLYMER FILM
Carbon nanotubes (see figure) constitute one of the smallest one-dimensional and nearly perfect structures available and these materials should exhibit a nide range of interesting properties. Most of these properties, however, will only be of use if the structures can be manipulated into a controlled configuration. Here the alignment of nanotubes in thin polymer films is discussed.
