In the search for new organic conductors based on tetrathiafulvalene (TTF) an unsymmetrical tellurocycle-fused TTF molecule is examined. The crystal structures and electrical properties of the charge-transfer complex and cation radical salts prepared from this donor molecule are also investigated. The Figure shows the donor-acceptor stacking of its complex with 7,7,8,8-tetracyanoquinodimethane (TCNQ).
