Communication: A low-temperature CVD process for thin-film magnet fabrication is reported here with a variety of rigid and flexible substrates (see also cover). These polymeric magnets have enhanced air stability with respect to those prepared from solution, and an opportunity is provided for the preparation of a broad range of patterned and multilayered magnetic structures.
