The attachment of peptides to the surface of spherical dendrimers via graft polymerization is described here (see Figure). It is shown that the resulting peptide dendrimers display greatly enhanced helicity compared to non-dendrimer-based analogues. This is attributed to aggregation of peptide segments on the dendrimer surface.
