An integrated array of TiO2-SiO2-TeO2 nanotubules on glass: Fabrication and structural characteristics
Titania nanotubule arrays on glass (see Figure) possessing large surface areas have been fabricated by combining aluminum anodization with a sol-gel process. Additionally, it has been confirmed that adding appropriate amounts Of SiO2 and TeO2 to TiO2 leads to a higher photocatalytic activity than when pure TiO2 is used. This approach may also be used to fabricate other integrated nanostructures on glass for many applications.
