PRESSURE AND TEMPERATURE-DEPENDENCE OF THE PROPAGATION RATE COEFFICIENT IN FREE-RADICAL POLYMERIZATION OF BUTYL METHACRYLATE
The propagation rate coefficient in free-radical bulk polymerization of butyl methacrylate has been studied at temperatures between - 10 degrees C and 60 degrees C up to a maximum pressure of 2000 bar. The data were obtained by means of the PLP-GPC technique which combines pulsed-laser polymerization with product analysis by gel-permeation chromatography.
