Determination of the rate of iodous acid disproportionation in aqueous sulfuric acid solution
The rate constants of disproportionation in acidic aqueous solution (0.09 mol/dm(3) H2SO4) were examined by combination of experimental and numerical investigations of the overall complex process in a steady state. The rate constants were determined at temperatures of 12, 18, 25 and 30 degrees C.
