Experimental study of heat transfer during film condensation in transient conditions in a vertical smooth tube
This work is devoted to enhancement of heat transfer in adsorbers on the heat transfer fluid side. We discuss adsorber heating by steam condensation as a falling film on the surface of the tube. Experimental results are reported on the heat exchange in transient conditions, a relatively unexplored problem. The different flow regimes are identified and a single correlation between the characteristic parameters is established which predicts the fluid heat transfer coefficients for all of these flows.
