Micro Structured Electrode Materials in UV/VIS Spectroelectrochemical Cells
An in situ spectroelectrochemical capillary slit cell based on honeycombed gold-LIGA structures with a response time below 100 ms and a conversion time of 1.2 s is described. The construction and the advances of the LIGA-spectroelectrochemical cell are discussed in detail. This cell is applied in studies of the electrochemical oxidation of Wursters reagent and in kinetic investigations of the cathodic trithioisatoic anhydride reduction.
