Electrochemical behaviour of SrZr1-xDyxO3-delta in atmospheres containing H-2 and H2O
Point-contact electrodes were used to investigate the cathodic behaviour of Dy-doped strontium zirconate at temperatures of about 800 degrees C; this avoids the requirement of finding a reliable reference electrode. The results reported in this contribution demonstrated that one should consider distinct cathodic reactions in the presence and absence of water vapour, for nearly identical H-2 contents in the atmosphere.
