Experimental investigation of the performance of a counter-flow, packed-bed mechanical cooling tower
Results are presented in terms of tower characteristics, water-outlet temperature, water to air Row rate ratio (L/G ratio) and efficiency. Tower performance decreases with an increase in the L/G ratio as is also observed in other types of cooling towers.
