Statistical models of fluctuation phenomena in field emission
Probabilities of emission states, autocorrelation functions and spectra of the fluctuations in the field emission from single site and field emitter arrays (FEAs) are analytically calculated in the context of various statistical models of emission instabilities. Relationships between statistical characteristics of bistable and multistable fluctuations, microparameters of the models, and reliability parameters of FEAs are obtained.
