On the kinetics of catalytic reforming with the use of various raw materials
Two complementary methods describing the reforming process were adapted to the purpose of this study. One of these, the statistical method, may be of utility in forecasting and optimizing the process. The other method, based on the material balance and on the knowledge of the physicochemistry of the process, is useful when analyzing the kinetics of reforming. Experiments were run separately for each of the investigated raw materials. For each raw material, the most probable kinetic model was proposed and the rate constants of a hypothetical transformation calculated.
