Optical-optical double resonance spectroscopy of YBr and YCl
High resolution optical-optical double resonance (OODR) spectra of YBr and YCl in the spectral region between 338.9 and 371.7 nm have been recorded and analysis. For YBr, the nu = 4-6 levels of the J (1)Pi state and the nu = 1-3 levels of the Kappa (1)Pi state were observed via the intermediate C (1)Sigma state from the Chi (1)Sigma(divided by) state. For YCl, the nu = 0-2 levels of the Iota (1)Delta state was reached via the intermediate Beta (1)Pi state from the Chi (1)Sigma state. Rotational and vibrational constants for these electronic states were determined. (c) 2007 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
