Color surface plasmon resonance imaging of protein microdot arrays
A novel method for readout of protein microdot arrays was presented by using a laboratory-built color SPR imaging system which used multiwavelength light as an excitation source and color CCD as an image detector. True color images were directly recorded from IgG microdot arrays. At the incident angles of 44-47 degrees, the colors complementary to the resonance absorption were recorded, depending on the concentration of IgG between 0.05 and 1.00 mg/mL, which indicates that the color signals contain both qualitative and quantitative information.
