Preparation of pillared carbons by pyrolysis of silylated graphite oxide
Pillared carbons containing silica between their carbon layers were first prepared by the pyrolysis of graphite oxide silylated by 3-aminopropyldiethoxymethylsilane between 450 and 550 degrees C under vacuum. They possessed both microporosities and mesoporosities existing between their carbon layers.
