Formation of the interfacial dipole at organic-organic interfaces: C-60/polymer interfaces
Conditions for spontaneous charge transfer across C-60/polymer interfaces (in the ground state) are mapped out with aid of photoelectron spectroscopy The polymers and C-60 interact weakly, i.e., the electronic states of the organic semiconductors are coupled only by tunneling, which in turn results in transfer of complete charges across interfaces.
