Synthesis and characterization of monodisperse poly(organosiloxane) nanocapsules with or without magnetic cores
Core/shell nanocapsules filled with ferrofluids were successfully synthesized at room temperature under ambient pressure. The size and shape of the nanocapsules remained stable after etching and purification processes. Nanocapsules are molecularly redispersable and the internal iron oxide core could be partially or completely removed.
