Denitrogenation of shale oil by oxime formation from pyrroles
A new denitrogenation of shale oil is proposed. Raw shale oil is allowed to process through FeCl3-clay chromatography. Both polar and nonpolar fractions are then treated with oxime formation. The nature of oximes formed is studied in this paper. The nitrogen concentrates of shale oil can be used for chemical stocks.
