REDUCTION OF AROMATICS IN DIESEL - USE OF SULFUR-TOLERANT HYDROGENATION CATALYSTS
Regulations limiting the fetal aromatic contents of diesel fuels necessitate appropriate processing. The traditionally used nickel catalysts show drawbacks because of the sulfur content of the feedstocks. Sulfur tolerant catalysts developed have been tested. The paper discusses their range of applicability and some aspects of their kinetic behaviour.
