Antiwear properties of high-temperature greases
The antiwear properties of high-temperature greases were investigated on a four-ball friction machine in a wide temperature range with different loads. The dependence of the tribological characteristics of the greases on the nature of the thickener was established. Ordinary complex and complex ultrabasic calcium salicylate, sulfonate, and phenolate greases have the maximum level of antiwear properties.
