Temperature influence on dual fluorescence of 4-(dimethylamino) benzaldehyde in 1,2-dichloroethane and ethyl acetate
The effect of temperature T ranging from 248 to 373 K on absorption and dual fluorescence spectra of 4-(dimethylamino) benzaldehyde (DMABA) in 1,2-dichloroethane and ethyl acetate is studied. It has been shown that temperature strongly affects the intensity of long wave emission (LE) and it leads to the short wave (hypsochromic) shift with the increase in temperature. Temperature increase causes the decrease of permittivity e and refractive index n. It has been shown what an important role is played in TICT state formation by the solvent polarity.
