Two chlorinated briaranes have been isolated from the gorgonian Ellisella robusta: a new briarane, robustolide H (1) and a known briarane, robustolide I (2). The structure of I was determined by spectroscopic methods and the absolute configuration of 2 was established by X-ray diffraction analysis.
