Solid-state conversion of processable 3,4-ethylenedioxythioplhene (EDOT) containing poly(arylsilane) precursors to pi-conjugated conducting polymers
The synthesis of processable poly(arylsilane) precursor polymer, which is converted electrochemically into the conjugated polymer in the processed solid state, is reported. This used process can be used to make other conjugated polymers from precursors having different aromatic moieties.
