Vapor-Liquid-Equilibria of the Binary-Systems Formed by Methanol, Acetone and Methyl Vinyl Ketone at 100.0+/-0.2 kPa
The isobaric vapor-liquid equilibrium (VLE) data were determined at 100.0 +/- 0.2 kPa for three binary mixtures formed by methanol, acetone and methyl vinyl ketone. The thermodynamic consistency of the data was tested via Herington analysis. The experimental VLE data were reduced and binary parameters for four liquid models, such as three-suffix Margules, Wilson, NRTL and UNIQUAC, were fitted. A comparison of model performances was made by using the criterion of average absolute deviations in boiling point and vapor-phase composition.
