Phase-Equilibria Modeling for Binary-Systems That Contain CO2
The excess function formalism was used to represent vapour-liquid equilibria (VLE) of binary systems formed by CO2 and one polar or non-polar component. Models were investigated that were capable of representing VLE data over a large interval of temperature. A predictive model was also proposed for this family of mixtures.
