폐식용유를 이용한 Bio-fuel의 물리화학적 특성
Characteristics of physicochemical properties on Bio-fuel manufactured by waste vegetable oil
Fossil fuel resources are decreasing but environmental pollution is increasing. Fuel energies replacing petrodiesel must be environmentally feasible, technically available and economically competitive. Recently, biodiesel has been more attractive due to its environmental benefits and has been used as fuel of diesel engine. In this work, we have dealt with waste vegetable oil(WVO) instead of pure vegetable oil. Also, we prepared transesterified WVO(trans-WVO) through transesterification of WYO. WVO/diesel, trans-WVO/diesel and WVO/kerosene blends were made with various compositions. Each blend was evaluated by physicochemical properties which are viscosity, iodine value and the acid number. Finally, we could find some composition of the blends can be available for application in the diesel engine.
