A systematic study of cubic three-parameter equations of state for deriving a structurally optimized PVT relation
The characteristics of a variety of two- and three-parameter cubic equations of state (C2EOS and C3EOS) have been analyzed by a systematic consideration of possible relations between the parameters of a general four-parameter equation. The PVT behaviour of oxygen and water as popular examples of nonpolar and polar substances and other compounds has been studied with different C3EOS. From these results conclusions for suitable structures of C3EOS can be drawn.
