Wnt signaling pathway has been divided into two subclasses: the canonical pathway (Wnt/beta-catenin pathway) and the non-canonical pathway. It has been proven that Wnt/beta-catenin pathway can enhance wound healing, and some glycoprotein of Wnt family may directly or indirectly improve wound healing. (C) 2008 Elsevier Inc.
