The effect of coal properties on the rheological properties of coal oil mixtures (COM) has been studied. Coal samples having different ash and moisture contents have been used to study the effect of these components on rheological properties of coal oil mixtures. It has been observed that coals having higher ash content give rise to less viscous oil mixtures and viscosity of the COM decreases as moisture content of coal is reduced.
