A method of producing the super-alkaline alkylphenol additive V-7130 for level SG/CD, CF-4, and higher lube oils, which makes it possible to retain the quality of the oil when the overall content of detergent additives is reduced, is developed. The additive can be produced at industrial plants that refine a similar type of additive without their considerable refitting.
