A palladium-catalyzed ring-opening bis(alkoxycarbonylation) reaction of methylenecyclopropanes in the presence of copper(l) salt was achieved under normal pressure of carbon monoxide and oxygen to give the corresponding alpha-methylenegluta-rates.
