Alkoxy-substituted Derivatives of pi-Conjugated Acyclic Anion Receptors: Effects of Substituted Positions
The synthesis, solid-state assemblies, and anion binding affinities of pi-conjugated acyclic anion receptors with alkoxyphenyl substituents are discussed. The position of the alkoxy moiety is essential to determining not only the electronic state but also the anion binding affinity.
