Tetrahedral Cobalt(II) and Zinc(II) Chloride with Tetravanadate through a Tripod Coordination Mode
Polyoxometalate derivatives, ((n-C4H9)(4)N)(3)[(MCl)V4O12] (1, M = Co and 2, M = Zn), have been synthesized from reactions of a tetravanadate with CoCl2 center dot 6H(2)O and ZnCl2, respectively. From the variable-temperature V-51 and O-17 NMR studies of 2, a dynamic behavior of the tetrahedral metal group on the surface of oxide mimic tetravanadate was observed in acetonitrile solution.
