A Facile Pathway to Synthesize One-dimensional Selenium (Se) with Controllable Morphology
One-dimensional selenium (Se) structures (submicro/nano rods and nanowires) were fabricated via a facile recrystallization process by dissolving bulk Se in ethylenediamine, precipitating it with ethanol, water, or ethylene glycol, then aging at room temperature. By choosing suitable precipitating solvents and adjusting the Se concentration, the morphology of the final products could be controlled.
