A DECOMPOSITION METHOD FOR NONLINEAR-PROGRAMMING
A nonlinear iterative procedure for coordination of the multilevel hierarchical solutions of a decomposition method for the parametric optimisation through the medium of partitioning and consecutive fixing of the control variables is described. Novel features of the suggested approach are the adjustment of the control variables instead of up to now used auxiliary parameters and the ability to generate a set of varied modes in connection with three- or two-level decomposition of large-scale systems, mainly technological ones. The included mathematical appendages prove the correctness and the convergency of the developed hierarchical sequences even in the cases of nonlinear programming along with multimodal object function.
