Effect of palladium concentration profile on acetylene conversion and selectivity for acetylene hydrogenation reactor
The effect of the palladium concentration profile on selectivity and acetylene conversion for selective acetylene hydrogenation process is investigated. A mathematical simulation method of industrial selective hydrogenation reactor operating conditions was used. Employing of catalyst pellets with a narrow active layer in outer part of the pellet only is recommended.
