Novel results in the characterisation of the plasma-sprayed titanium coating of endosseous implant
The species on the surface and in the inner layers of the plasma-sprayed titanium coating of the endosseous implant were investigated using XRD, XPS, SEM measurements. The presence of TiO2 sub-oxides, titanium metal as well as carbon and water/hydroxide species were shown on the surface of the titanium coating.
