On the synthesis of stable H-infinity controllers
In this paper, a sufficient condition is derived for the existence of a stable suboptimal H-infinity controller. It is shown that if a certain Algebraic Riccati Equation, determined from a parameterization of all suboptimal H-infinity controllers, has positive definite stabilizing solution, then a stable H-infinity controller of order 2n can be constructed, where n is the order of the generalized plant.
