X-ray Structure of a CT Complex Relevant to Diels-Alder Reactivity of Anthracenes
Combining the results of thermodynamic and kinetic investigations with an X-ray characterization of a transient CT complex sheds more light on the Diets-Alder reactivity of a strongly electron-deficient olefin, namely the 4-nitrobenzodifuroxan.
