Quaternary Liquid-Liquid Equilibrium of N-Heptane-Toluene-O-Xylene-Propylene Carbonate
Liquid-liquid equilibrium data for the system n-heptane/toluene/o-xylene/propylene carbonate were obtained at 25-degrees-C. Experimental tie line data were measured by gas chromatographic analysis. The UNIQUAC and NRTL models were used to predict the quaternary data from the corresponding ternary data. Agreement between the predictions and the experimental data was satisfactory.
