Electrochemical formation of crystalline Li3VO4/Li4SiO4 solid solutions film
Crystalline Li3VO4/Li4SiO4 (LVSO) solid solution films were prepared on Pt substrate electrochemically in absolute ethyl alcohol solution at 150 degrees C. XRD and Raman structure analyses indicated the presence of characteristic vibrational bands for the orthorhombic structure for the samples. The crystal LVSO thin film has a smooth and dense surface, whose composition was analyzed to be 0.4 (Li4SiO4)-0.6(Li3VO4). The ionic conductivity of the LVSO film was estimated by impedance spectroscopy to be 8.92 x 10(-7) S/cm at 25 degrees C with a conductivity activation energy of 0.49 eV. (C) 2008 Elsevier B.V.
