In this paper, we have introduced an electron-deficient triazole (Tz) unit into the fluorene-thiophene-based copolymer backbone. The copolymers were successfully synthesized by Suzuki coupling polymerization. Interestingly, the addition of triazole unit increased the photovoltaic properties of the resulting polymer. Furthermore, the device performance was improved by thermal annealing process.
