DIFFERENTIATION OF JURASSIC AND CRETACEOUS KALMYKIA CRUDES BASED ON C-14-C-16 DIAMANTANES
The distribution of hydrocarbons of diamond-like structure - C-10-C-13 adamantanes and C-14-C-16 diamantanes - in Kalmykia condensate lying in Cretaceous and Jurassic deposits was investigated by chromatography-mass spectrometry. It was shown that Jurassic and Cretaceous crudes can differ with respect to the relative distribution of C-15-C-16 methyl- and dimethyldiamantanes.
