Spectroscopic and Structural Characterization of Diphosphine and Diarsine Complexes of Iron(III) Iodide
The first examples of pseudooctahedral iron(III) iodide complexes, trans-[Fe(L-L)212]BF4 (L-L = o-C6H4(PMe2)2, o-C6H4(AsMe2)2, o-C6F4(AsMe2)2), have been isolated and characterized by cyclic voltammetry, UV-visible spectroscopy, and the first coordination sphere bond lengths established by Fe K-edge EXAFS.
