Non-Newtonian flow in porous media
In this article we present a review of the single-phase flow of non-Newtonian fluids in porous media. The four main approaches for describing the flow through porous media in general are examined and assessed in this context. These are: continuum models, bundle of tubes models, numerical methods and pore-scale network modeling. (C) 2010 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
