Carbonaceous Nanofiber Membranes for Selective Filtration and Separation of Nanoparticles
A new type of free-standing membrane composed of highly uniform carbonaceous nanofibers has been fabricated on a large scale. The membrane with a controllable cut-off size exhibits high flux and excellent size-selective rejection properties, and can be used to filter and separate nanoparticles with different sizes from solution by a simple filtration process.
